Coke's just as pathetic as the parents that take their kids out to trick or treat IMO. Why people spend so much time and effort on such shitty americanism is beyond me.

You're right, halloween is shit, I didn't even go trick or treating when I looked young enough to knock on people's doors and harass them for sweets.

when you have taken so much cocaine that giving cocaine to kids seems like a good idea

^Dressing up as dracula and knocking on doors to get sweets? I don't think so mate, whatever ancient traditions people had have been replaced by the americanised way of doing it. Never used to happen when i was a kid.

dressing up is a bit of fun although not something im arsed with. we never did it growing up but the worst thing is when you answer the door and there are all these grimy 9 year olds in shit costumes without even an adult looking after them muttering "trick or treat" it's the most depressing vision of our time

I just like any excuse to dress up like a twat, I don't care about fleecing people for sweets or even the fact that its halloween, tbh if the government just called it "national dress up like a twat just for the sake of it day" it'd easily rival christmas for me

Erm, dressing up as something, knocking on doors and asking for sweets... yeah, exactly that, mate. Putting masks on and travelling around villages and knocking on doors asking for food has been going on in Scotland longer than the United States as a country has even existed.

Never used to happen when you were a kid? Even my mom and dad went trick or treating when THEY were kids, and unless you're 51 or older, then people have been trick or treating in this country for longer than you think.

Fuck sake, you can't pin that one on Americans either mate, literally the only person I know from the midlands that says "Mum" rather than "Mom" is my "Mom" and she's from Portsmouth originally.

Just to prove it's not just me: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=mum+o ... =firefox-a
