Sometimes the best music moments happen when everything somehow miraculously falls into place. That's not to say Hackney-based quartet Rudimental haven't put in the groundwork for chart success - their underground smash 'Spoons' almost instantly elevated them into the mainstream - but given they've released one of 2012's potential summer anthems as the sun finally makes an appearance, someone somewhere is surely smiling down on them.
'Feel The Love' is a colliding of the collective's influences, from the wobbly D&B bassline in the verses, to the jazzy horns on the breakdown, to the soul-drenched vocals from guest feature John Newman. "You know I said it's true/ I can feel the love, can you feel it too?" he asks, safely capping off the insanity that lies underneath. It's anthemic, uplifting and utterly bonkers, but it works.
