presonus studio one "tuner" alternative?

Post by Kilo beats » Mon Nov 05, 2012 4:11 pm

I watched a tutorial by Audio last week, and he was using presonus studio one, there was a plugin for studio one called "tuner",

this plug shows you the key of a sample you are playing in real time, im just wondering if anyone knows of any vst alternatives to this plug. It looked like a very handy thing to have, and i have never seen anything like it in vst form. The only other vst's that are similar to this "tuner" i can think of are mixed in key, and melodine, but MIK is for determining the key of whole tracks, not samples. and melodine is a cpu hog and would not do the job i want it to do anyway

essentially i want a small VST that will tell me what key my samples are in, in real time. without me having to drag them onto an audio track and hover over the dominant frequency in lives spectrum just to find out the key. :u:

this is what Audio was using: but as i say it it a presonus native plug in. :corncry:
