i don't think he's quite grasped the idea of punctuation yet.
or the use of paragraphs.
or sentences for that matter.

Cloud Atlas
It wasn't bad.
Cool CGI but not an amazing movie.
Story line didn't blow me away or anything.
I hate the cliched Movie ending with love conquering all.

With Cloud atlas not being out in the uk for a while, i had a look to see what else there was with similar past present future life cross over.
Nice film that makes you think- not too over the top but not too subtle either. Felt strange and uncanny watching it because a lot of it mirrors what i have been experiencing and perceiving.
About all of the possible paths your life can take depending on the choices and Chances you took, or didn't take that change the course of the rest of your life
{In the year 2092, Nemo Nobody is a 118-year-old man who finds himself as the last mortal amongst humans who have become immortal due to scientific advances involving the perpetual rejuvenation of telomeres. When Nemo is on his deathbed, he reviews three possible existences and marriages he might have experienced. References to the big bang theory, the nature of time, superstring theory, and memory help structure the plot}

Also the old guy looks exactly like the old guy from Prometheus too, and the timeline of both is only a few years apart too. Also noticed by chance that most of the story and visual aspects of Prometheus seems to have been lifted from the show- Stargate Atlantis.

A bit underwhelming. Was expecting a less "serious" film considering the plot.

The Master - Not sure what to make of this really. Directing and acting were top notch as I'd expect in a Paul Thomas Anderson film and certain scenes were very powerful yet it seemed to lack an overall structure. But it certainly had something so I wouldn't be surprised if I connected with it better on a second viewing. If you don't like previous PTA efforts like There Will Be Blood, Punch Drunk Love etc then I don't think this will be the one to change your mind.

i watched an extended version, 2hr35mins long... too longparson wrote:it's kinda boring, kinda good. worth finishing
skipped 30mins to the last 15, get the impression absolutely nothing new happened in that 30mins
decent ending
film was way ambitious, respect it for the idea's, but kinda think it failed in some of what it wanted to do
all the actors in it were really good though i thought, specially that blonde american chick who was in Dawn of the Dead (remake) she was awesome, made me sad, captured that role scarily accurate
