Breakbeat producer does somekind of dubstep I guess

Post by skunktech » Mon Nov 05, 2012 2:04 am

Hey what's up? I'm a breakbeat/trip hop producer but these two tunes came out completely dubsteppish for some weird reason. Is this dubstep at all?

tune2

Tune 1 get links:

Tune 2 get links:

you can also get them on all the other major digital shops, trackitdown, amazon,emusic,napster/rhapsody etc. etc. just search moonglow 359 there.

and in case you're interested in my breakbeat album here's a preview of all the 14 tracks on it.

Second one is big in my opinion, sound a bit like benga, your drums are on point, and I guess it can be considered dubstep to some point, but really, who cares what kind of music it is, really.

This. Appelations/monikers/genre labels come after the fact. Let the music speak for itself; don't bother with trying to name it, because there'll be 80,000 nobclowns clamoring to do it for you if you succeed. Just do what you love, and if teh dubstepz likes it, awesome... if not, start your own forum. :6:

I personally just say to people that I make BASS music, if you ever want to name it something!

that means personal, like a dubplate only one producer has and everyone looks forward to *maybe* hearing it.

long story short it's a compliment.

nice tunes btw.

oh sweet hard work pays off. 2012 was a clusterfuck producing wise. Took 24/24 of time for months.
