D&B News:

Yes D&B fans, big thanks to all those that turned out for the Critical Music night with a special thanks to Kasra & Xtrah, what a night!! It's a huge week for new releases, D&B legend Cyantific drops the epic "Liberty E.P" on his own Cyantifc Music label!! The lads at Hospital drop two 12"s as samplers from the forthcoming Sick Music 3 album and Rene La Vice drops a beastly double A side on Ram! Plus we have dope cuts from DJ SS, Total Science, Need For Mirrors, The Prototypes, Eveson and more!!

In the promo section it's not about quantity but quality! First up our homeboy Wilkinson delivers another slice of serious quality on legendary label Ram. His "Need To Know" Ft. Iman is a vocal dancefloor beat for the ladies whilst the flip "Direction" is a dark & heavy bomb to please the headz!! As well as this we have one of the most eagerly anticipated albums this year from Russian upstart Enei!! His "Machines" album features seriously sought after tracks that have had been on dubplate for some time!! Dubstep News:

So we have a fantastical selection of Dubstep delights for ya this week! Roska a man usually known for his classy UK Funky vibes turns his hand to Dubstep on Pinch's Tectonic label. Both "Blurry" and "Spearhead" have a quality deep feel akin to beats by Mala or some of the early founding father of Dubstep. He takes it nicely back to the old school. Phaeleh gets his soulful tune "The Cold In You" remixed firstly by Kahn who works with original sounds and vocals to great effect to create a deep warm sound. On the flip DJRum takes the sound on a more Techno influenced route.

Also new in this week Mastermind Records normally associated with D&B try their had at a Dubstep release and come up trumps!! they enlist Kromestar, Chef & Bluesy, El-B and DJ Enme to provide 4 foundations sound bangers on the "Mastermindz of Dubstep Vol 1". That's it for releases but we've got a killer Dubstep lineup with heavy producers Soundproof headlining things!! They have had sounds on original dubstep label Boka Records and have also remixed for Herve's established label Cheap Thrills. It's all happening at Repeater Sessions in Room 2 of D.A.N.C.E (McCluskys) this Friday 16th November!

Wonky/ Bass Music News:

Rococo Rot drop a very limited 12" on City Slang with a very on form Kieran Hebden dropping a Four Tet remix, (following on from his superb 'Lion' 12" which is still selling real well). Hessel Audio co-founder Pangaea drops his album of tech inspired futuristic bass music, tidy!

We're loving the new Shelter Point 12" on Hot Flush, sitting somewhere between Mount Kimbie & James Blake sure these guys are set for big things. Pre-orders now up for the limited pressing of Disclosure's chart crossover single 'Latch' and also the full Bjork remixes album.
