The simple answer is because hot sauces have been posted in this thread. Inadvertently perhaps, but that could be syncronicity.

You choice in hotsauces will say more about you as a producer than yet another picture of a mac and some krks. They are an insight, a paradigm if you will, into the mind, heart and soul of producers. Do you take risks? Can you tread where no one else dares? Do you have the ability to discern true quality from second rate alternatives? Are you willing to spend time and energy exploring hidden worlds?

If the answer is red tabasco, or tomato ketchup then the answer, sadly, is no.

This could be the most important thing discussed on this board.

Nah, I'm from the UK I just live here.


Though Madrid (and Spanish people in general) isn't a big mecca for real spicy food. There is plenty of regional flavourings etc going on in places like Andalucia etc, but for hot hot chilli heat hot, not a whole lot.

Start of summer we're getting onto growing our own chillis and tomatoes on the terrace, see how that works out
