Just watched Tyranosaur too. God that was fucking grim. Fantastic acting and some moving moments as you all say, but it wasn't easy viewing. Music was great too.

Yeah spot on.

Have you seen Dead Man's Shoes? The music in that film is unbelievable, pretty much all Warp Records cuts with loads of Aphex Twin. Amazing film also.

Yeah that was the first I'd heard of Paddy Considine. He is terrifying in that film. There's at least a glimmer of light in Tyrannosaur compared to Dead Man's Shoes I suppose.

I can't remember but has he some affiliation with Shane Meadows or the 'This is England' crew? He might have been in it, the first TV series they did certainly had the same kind of horrifying dark moments.

Edit: The fuck am I talking about? Dead Man's Shoes was Shane Meadows.

Definitely going to check out Dead Man's Shoes now. Watched a clip of it on youtube and it looks very promising!

Just watched Dead Man's Shoes. Thought it was really good. Toby Kebbell is such a fantastic actor as well.

Brilliant film, not really that big on Tom Hanks, but he smashes it in this!

Aye, really liked this film and Hanks' performance. It adds another level rather than having a De Niro/Pacino wannabe.

Newman's score, as ever, is quality.

25th hour last night. Edward Norton, Philip Seymour-Hoffman and a bunch of others. Really good. Not that obvious where the film is really going for a while but worth seeing, particularly if you liked American History.

It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.
