got it!
el-b production masterclass is simple, down-to-earth and basic.

As Computer Magazine sez:
"El-b avoids using too much eq - as he points out, if you're using presets, they're normally fine-tuned at the factory anyway and shouldn't require severe processing.."
I wish i had read this article LOT earlier! :D

can't see the last minutes of this dvd-feature tho, winamp just stops... :?

btw: the metal samples are ACE
taken that 'metal' should be interpreted as UK-rockers with the metal-presets on their FX-stompboxes activated....

When apllied with success the only alarm you'll hear is the ring in ya ears after auditioning those metal-grunts...

but 2.6gigs for 35mins of video, it aint even that high quality, I find that very strange

Why dont you email computer music and tell them about your problems and maybe they cant sort out the rest of the video for you

Did anyone else feel that this tutorial was a little vauge?

don't get me wrong - i'm not disputing El-B's production ability - the tutorial was informative - he's got proper talent and the tune he had on the vid sounded heavy.

my dissapointment was with computer music touting the tutorial as a Dubstep special
seemed like 60% of it concerntrates on recording r'n'b vocals.

compared to the superb D'n'b masterclass last month I feel a bit let down.

El-B rocks but the tutorial is really quite uninformative.

If anything, though, he teaches peeps a great lesson - you don't need to overcomplicate things. Keep it pure.
