for myself, at least, i literally cant listen to a skrillex song for more than 15 seconds. its truly painful to listen to. the noises are sharp, unmusical, and unoriginal. thus, in my opinion, benga is better than skrillex by default, let alone the fact that hes just plain better in pretty much every musical facet.

having said that, i dont listen to benga at all anymore. really unfortunate, but he just doesnt make quality tunes anymore, or at least hasnt recently. hopefully he will in the future.

I'll always have a soft spot for Diary of an Afro Warrior, sore spot for skrillsux.

But this thread isn't about 'Night'.

Err, like I said Nandos was made last year so yes he has recently done something better than Skrillex albeit a collab and a gem amongst shit.

This and only this

I know it's a discussion thread but I'm struggling to understand why people who apparently don't enjoy either of their music they're putting out right now would even care?

I just buy the tunes what I like and forget about the ones what I don't like.

Yes I understand that, but surely there's a million good things people could be chatting about other than who's the best of the worst?

If some newbie had of posted this in the dubstep general discussion thread you'd of all have slewed him.

I've only posted on this forum in the last few months but been a "silent" watcher for many a year and never realised just how clicky it was until I started posting.

well i would rather listen to a watered down, recent benga tune than a skrillex tune that makes me want to go deaf

Yeah, there could be. There could be a million other things we could be doing, but we aren't and that's all that matters dude. I'm just passing the time between important stuff, chatting shit about what somebody bought up on the random. When you're with your friends at the pub or whatever, do you just talk about the one most important thing? Lighten up man.

If some newbie had posted this, I would've agreed entirely!

And I presume you mean clique-y, and I don't see where that has come from. Read the SNH dude, 99.9% of it is people violently disagreeing with each other  For an example of how lighthearted it is, check Fractal being entirely wrong above. I still love him though, he's right on most other things. :6:

Lighten up bro, not everything is so serious. SNH is not a forum for academic discussion. We're just shooting the shit about whether a legend of dubstep is still creating better stuff than probably the most hated guy on here. :w:

Blow up, I'd say. But whilst Benga's fading out to some of us, he's blowing up to the mainstream heads now.

I wish he'd made more tunes like Eyetunes. Seems like it was a one off sorta thing though. Either way this wouldn't be an issue if Benga did some cheeky giveaways of some of the old stuff. Ammo anyone?
