Can't wait till saturday! Will catch Mala in Amsterdam.

Does he bring musicians? Because of the 'Live' ...

Went down with the mrs and have to say was way better than i was expecting, best thing i've been too in ages! There was a dude on the bongos, a sick drummer and swindle was on the keyboard, then you had mala in the middle conducting everyone in time with his own mixing. Not sure what setup he was on, but the tunes flowed smoothly from one into the next. There was also a female singer from cuba, can't remember her name but she sang live over a few tunes and her voice was amazing!

The level of bass was ridic, we were towards the back and were getting destroyed by basslines but everything else was clear and crisp over the top.
Big respect to mala for putting this together, unbelieveably good. If you get the chance to see this live i suggest you do otherwise you'll regret it!

Crowd were wicked too, proper mix of heads. Saw a couple of oaps rocking out!

GO SEE THIS!

Its also worth seeing that Moritz Von Oswald does not even nod his head whilst he is playing. Stiff as a board! Plays nice music though.

Mala smashed it and made me realise how the album should be listened to. Giles Peterson said the next one is going to be from Peru... The guy on the live percussion was incredible, Swindle is one for the future and infinitely talented. The bass was awesome, I felt at times it could have been louder but hey! Most people left before silkie, quest and swindle and it felt like a heads crowd by that point.

Big Night.

the lady singing was sexy as fuck...

i was not that big of a fan of the album but hearing it live took it to another level. Really good performance by everyone. I didn't even realize swindle was on the keyboards until Mala thanked him at the end

Did Mala do a DJ set after the live performance? because I had to leave after the live show

man the girl singing was soooooo hot, i cannot emphasise enough how hot she was.

on a serious note though really, really good night. Was amazing to see moritz von oswald live, when he played this i swear i lost my shit altogether was also really glad he played never tell you version, shame tikiman didnt sing the words but was sick none the less. also never realised how incredible his voice was! that set was one of the best ive ever seen imo. Cant really say much about malas set, was just incredible. must of been pritty emotional for him aswell as if i remeber correctly he mentioned that his mum was in the audience and it was the first gig she'd ever seen him play. silkie b2b quest ended the night perfectly, loved the medi classics like kalawanji and all of a sudden they played at the end. amazing night bigup mala each and every

Yeah Malas brother and mother both came. Must have been an important gig for him.

Btw did anyone see a ridiculously drunk guy bouncing off the walls and going mental?
