would love to have this!leyenda303 wrote:I wish he'd made more tunes like Eyetunes. Seems like it was a one off sorta thing though. Either way this wouldn't be an issue if Benga did some cheeky giveaways of some of the old stuff. Ammo anyone?

Re: Skrillex > Benga
Yeah why hasn't he given any of his old stuff away? Hes obviously not obliged to but look at how much Skream has given away
And iv'e not heard Benga producing anything with soul piercing screeches yet so there's still hope.

Thought this was going to be about the hair.
Battle of the hair, or Benga with Skrillex hair or vice versa.

Maybe if he did something like Skream did where he promised to give away Raw Dogz on the provision one of the Magnetic Man tunes got in the top 10 and it did or something like that. I'll shell out for the shit if there's the chance to get some of those old tunes.Nevalo wrote:if he gave away his old dubs, would anyone buy his new duds?Terpit wrote:Yeah why hasn't he given any of his old stuff away? Re: Skrillex > Benga
idc about this discussion much honestly... They both do a decent job at what they do production wise/creativity wise. One has a direction but isn't changing his sound enough to keep people overly interested like before even though he keeps the song itself interesting through out, the other explores and makes some hard hitters sometimes but explores too much and so he gets some bad tunes put out, which might sound good to him but not to others suppose that makes him what he is but neither "Appeal" to the crowd, they just have their own sound.
In terms of money, skrillex won the first ever grammy awards electronica music(?) and makes approx 15mil per year (or made)
Benga just makes some good tunes.
That's really all there is to this discussion imo.

His old dubs aren't pop music, his new ones are, I think there's a whole different audience for both and they don't overlap.Nevalo wrote:if he gave away his old dubs, would anyone buy his new duds?Terpit wrote:Yeah why hasn't he given any of his old stuff away?
