How to make this sound?

Post by Afflict » Sat Nov 24, 2012 12:16 am

I would like to know how someone would go about making a similar sound to the first bass at the drop. It's sort of...random? Can't really explain it. My guess would be lots of resampling and maybe some pitch modulation, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

talking about the very first noise at :55? sounds like a grinding noise basses with either a slow lfo or slow attack. it drops in pitch so you probably want to have a decreasing pitch envelope, at least for the first note. then the wah wah bass comes in a few seconds later with a faster lfo.
chill groovy shit
