probably the point where mentioning dubstep to someone no longer elicited an innocent "what's that?" but instead "OH FUCK YEAH DUDE SKRILLEX/EXCISION/FLUX/ETC WUB WUB WUB HAHAH YEAH" or a "oh, the obnoxious music with the dumb robot noises?"

which started happening around late 2008 / early 2009 and just got progressively worse, culminating with skrillex, who was the initial foray into dubstep/brostep for the masses

so basically the point where people started knowing about it

pissed as fuck just look at what time it is, should be sleeping, couldn't sleep once again courtesy of my arse brother whom I'd gladly knock his teeth out
stay awake till 3, try to sleep downstairs because of the noise, had 2 hours of sleep on a couch (if I lay down my knees touch the border :') very comfy)
this ain't the first time
he has kept me awake so many times, doesn't give 1 fuck about the noise he makes, and with so many I mean A HELL OF A LOT

She breaks down into tears and proceeds to tell me that a cousin I haven't seen in nearly 20 years was in a massive accident with her fiance and 2 young kids.
Her fiance who she was getting married to on Saturday was killed, her 2 daughters aged 2 ½ & 6 months were killed.
She is in intensive care, lost all her teeth, most likely major plastic surgery, broken arms, etc.

Terrible terrible news.
Like I said, I hardly knew her but naturally feel incredibly sad for my aunt and of course for my cousin who's life will never be the same.

Sucks bro. Really sorry to hear that. I've personally had so many, and heard so many tragic stories about automobile accidents. Can people just pay a bit of fucking attention on the road? It's not like your life, and those around you depend on it or anything.

I haven't recorded a mix in ages, mostly because I need to replace on of my needles and I ain't got the P. But I wouldn't wanna record one and start shamelessly promoting it on the internet in the hope of winning a competition which has been designed to promote the record label and event more then bring new talent into the scene. Fuck plastician, I used to hugely respect the guy but stopped paying attention after he started defending skrillex and smashing out the yois. Thought he might be able to redeem himself on the new dubstep allstars but then saw this fucking bullshit and stopped caring completely.
