Deep Medi's Worst QC Ever?!

I just got a copy of Boddika's House/ Syn Chron in the mail today with what looks like a pine needle pressed into it. Luckily it doesn't effect the way it sounds. I probably wouldn't even have noticed if it weren't for the fact it was a white vinyl.

The camera on my phone is shitty so I can't really get a detailed picture but up close it looks like a piece of wood or a broken off end of a pine needle. I just thought it was funny that it happened right after reading about people getting gravel and paper pressed into their records.

Yeah especially since it took like 3 weeks to get here and I probably wouldn't have gotten a new copy for at least a month.

My copy of Cluekid's Hawkeye has a couple of black coloured dots in the white vinyl.. doesn't affect play at all fortunately.

If anyone's had some trouble with warped vinyl, I've found a (relatively) cheap solution that seems to work very well based on a lot of people's responses. Might have to invest I think.

colored vinyl is not always pure!


the grooves are etched so most of the time the tune is just carved straight through little incidentals like bubbles etc.

Lol if you were referring to my post, there is a small piece of wood or something similar pressed into the vinyl. One end of it is partially sticking out of the vinyl. It's not like it's a small bubble or a different color dye or anything. I really couldn't care less though. The only reason I even said anything was because it related to what people were talking about and I had never had it happen to any of my other records.
