Any way to isolate certain elements in a song?

Post by Elektronikz » Tue Nov 27, 2012 11:40 pm

Hi! There's a reggae song I'm trying to use in a song I'm making. I just want one horn section from the song but there are drums and bass playing under it. Is there anyway to get just the section out of the song or would I have to figure out how to play it on my own and use a trumpet vst? The song I'm trying to get, (and I know this song is overused) is Stalag 17 by The Techniques.

Melodyne allows to access and manipulate individual elements within a track.

if its a reggae song find the dub version there probably won't be much going on other then bass drums and the horn then put a EQ/low cut out the drum n bass
