had some great and not so great times down there, but pdx always brings the vibes and seem to always have a good time...highly responsive and dancey crowds. Biggup.

Yeah, I'm new to the EDM scene, but I've was at Joe Nice back in August I believe, and Datsik last month, and I'm hip to Flash Rage and EDM OTR. I've not been to a lot of shows, but I'm making it point to get to as many as I can.kaiten wrote:Saw you're from Cincinnati, if you're looking for quality Dubstep you don't have to go far. We've been hosting quality bassweight here in town since 2007, including Hatcha, Joe Nice, Seven, Cyrus, Antiserum and more. Send me a PM with your contact info and I'll keep you in touch with everything that we're doing and other good local shows.DrVinnyBoomBeats wrote:I'd have to assume NYC and LA, but you never know. Where's the best place for dark/weird music? I like all forms of EDM, but it seems people want more aggresive music and less of a traditional sound.
Also regionally there are many good events in Columbus, Cleveland, Bowling Green, Dayton, Indy, Chicago, Detroit, Louisville, Pittsburgh, etc. If you're willing to travel a bit you can catch most of the US tours as they usually hit at least one of those cities.
