Release this sh*t on mp3 or f*ck off.
I don't even trust a CD order from the UK actually arriving here in Baltimore because everytime I've done that I've never gotten it.
If its not vinyl only, its this crap.
So sick of his sh*t.
rant unwarranted ?
isnt the hyperdub catalog released on digital ? if i remember correctly digi for the last burial ep was actually made available like 1 month BEFORE the vinyl version actually shipped (due to pressing issues yes) so there's that...

No. The last couple releases were and still are Vinyl only.
I never got the Massive Attack remixes(Four Walls/Paradise Circus), Moth/Wolf EP, or Ego/Mirror.
Thats three albums I've had to suffer through Youtube rips to listen to.
Thank God Kindred came out on Hyperdub.com,
But now he's back to his sh*t & I have to ship a CD from the UK to hear it?
F*ck him.

haha yup, ketamine you played yerself lol
The idea of greeting this news with anger is so far beyond laughable. Before even getting into issues of entitlement...
Long story short, will be bought on vinyl and not listened to until it arrives. Special times!

Lol I buy vinyl from the UK just about every other week and have it shipped to Washington State. I have never not received my order.
Also I don't even know where to start with how much of a spoiled brat you sound like in those posts...

Why am I so cranky today.

I dug Kindred when it came out, but have gone a little bit colder on it since. Loner and the last few bits of Ashtray Wasp are tunes though.
Kinda hope this release is more in line with his darker, more dance-oriented stuff like Wounder, Shutta and Pirates.
Burial does dark, Photek/Source Direct style vibes so well, shame we don't see that side of him lately.

Kindred was on that vibe, just longer than previous Burial tunes. Loner reminds me of more recent Photek tunes. Ashtray Wasp on the other hand is

His most boring tune imo; that and Prophecy.

I agree Ashtray Wasp has he most interesting section, but also one of the most boring ones: there's like three tunes in there. So maybe that's why it is such a divider. I think there was nothing wrong with Loner and Kindred, but honestly, the past 3 years or so Burial has been at his best in the ambient sort of beatless parts (at the end of the MA collab for example).
I know I know, In McDonalds and all that.

Lol, yeah fuck Kode 9, never releasing
Burial on digital formats.

I really really liked Kindred (Loner

) but I agree here, Wounder and Shutta are two of the best Burial tunes. Shutta might be my favourite, in fact.

The intro to South London Boroughs is the best thing ever in music, but Shutta is better than the main bit of SLB.
Liable to change, but for me it's:
Shutta
South London Boroughs
Etched Headplate
Shell Of Light
Gutted

Surely Homeless deserves a spot. Best "emotive" Burial tune by a mile in my book.
