PS, pretty sure the cost per year of health in US is over twice as much as UK and the UK healthcare system is rated far higher in the global league

The US' "world beating" privately funded healthcare system results in them having the 37th highest life expectancy in the world. Everyone above them socialises healthcare.

Japan's top and they even give free healthcare to ex-pats and tourists.

The US also pays more for healthcare than any other country:

I love it. Love making people happy with thoughtful gifts of actual value, not just pointless shit. Love that pretty much everyone is off work/out of uni for at least a few days, so for the whole time off work I can be doing something with someone that I don't get to spend as much time with outside of christmas.

Think the moment you really become a "grown up" is when you prefer to give other people presents and see them ahppy than to get them yourself. I haven't given a single thought to what I'm getting, but I'm well excited to give my girlfriend her presents.
