What Do You Hate Most About Reason 3.0?
My complaints go to sequencer and ...
Love Redrum and .. combi?
Love Redrum and .. combi?

not being able to easily automate tempo changes and the way it gets a bit of a spaghetti junction once the racks start mounting up.
however - mon the reason 4 - looks fucking sick!

what I hate most about Reason is the fact that anyone with a pc can become a "beatmaker"
no diss on the dubsteppaz that use it...
but when I was selling equip at the local gay-tar center, every hiphop / rap douchebag was a "podusa", cuz he uses that "reasons"
EDIT: I havent used reason since 2.0. that is when I switched to a vst host

I think humility is the key in life.
having said that...
if you use "reasons" be sure to render your tunes through some vst host or some kinda audio engine other than the one that comes with it.
I digress...
this thread probably belongs in the production forum

by that I mean the flat sound...
reason produces 16bits of audio, like most progs, but the problem with reason is that if you use the 16:4 mixer, 4 bits of audio are reserved for the effects on that mixer, leaving the actual audio at 12 bits...
so unless you re:wire it into another host ie protools or Live, youre losing that little bit of sound quality... it may not be noticable all the time, but compared head to head with a 16 bit recording on good speakers it can be - thats what I mean by "reason sound"
this is one of the main issues addressed in 4.0 along with the user friendliness of the sequencer
btw, 4.0 is available as a beta if you are a regestered Reason user on the propellerheads site...
