Snare is a bit on the splashy side and seems to be lacking some more mid frequencies to give it a bit more power. The first bass patch with the flange is pretty repetitive, could do with some movement/variation to stop it being quite so loopy.

The midrange noise that arrives at 1m30s is quite loud and dominates the mixdown to the point of drowning out the other elements. Maybe take another look at the EQing to creatively create some space for the other elements in the frequency range to stop them disappearing behind the wall of sound.

I agree with Wub,
The drums are the most important part so you could just lower the volume of the bass and side-chain it with the kick, and also apply some eq'ing on the drums and bass, so you it won't be so fuzzy :/

Wub,

I am far from a final mix-down again, this is for general feedback and suggestions on the direction of the track.

That said I will keep note of what you suggested when I do go down and master the track. I have a few things to add before mastering.

I noticed that too @ 1:30, which will really be 0:55 when I mix/master the track. I am looking for a vst(i) that can generate voices with re-verb and other various effects, of the available free ones, which would you suggest?

Also, of the FL9 stock VST(s) which mastering utility do you suggest using? (Limiter/Maximus/etc)

Thank you again for your honest opinion they are much appreciated. I will update this thread when the next mix is finished, and a download link for you guys only :)
