This is my first post ^_^ thought this thread would be a good one to start out in. I use Reason 3 and rewire myself with xanax haha. and of course rock the herb. I play around in ableton but I've yet to actually come up with anything serious with it cause I dont know the program too well. I invite you all to check out some of my stuff at http://myspace.com/djevilroshi (sorry if I'm not supposed to plug here didn't know). Anyway when I get off work I'll post some more. I look forward to great discussions with all of you ^_^.

Peace
Roshi

Pro Tools, RTAS plugs & Reason....Pro Tools is the fucking shit...will cost ya though, it took me a year to save for it..but man its woth it...the mbox2 pro firewire is the perfect mobile studio.

this is the name of my studio...inspired by Zappa's U.M.R.K. (Utility Muffin Research Kitchen):

M.C.R.L.

Mobile Choons Reseach Lab

Not as good sounding as teh U.M.R.K.....but i like it

i usually use FL as a sketch pad kinda, and once i have something i'll bring it into Cubase and do it all up new w/ full percussion and VST instruments.

some good VST's that recently blew my mind are...

NATIVE INSTRUMENTS: "MASSIVE"
and
CAKEWALK: "RAPTURE"

great sound design structure and full of thick nasty sounds. if you make drum and bass or dubstep, get these VSTS!

:D FL-Studio 7
im going to be using reason adapted,as i get a free copy with my korgpadKontrol (all i have to do is wait for the disk to arrive)
i also use music maker 12,as u can build a tune and a video in unison on the same page/work area. and audacity for editing on the sample.
