why do breaks producers insist on using terms like "funky" and "bootylicious" to describe their music..

For the same reason I've heard dubstep crew using words like shizzle and bizzle?

my point: breaks people relentlessly promote their shit as "funktastic booty shaking, block rocking etc".. when their beats are as rhythmically stiff, flat and wooden as a fucking plank. of wood.

dubstep / grime people might say odd things like "bizzle" now and again, but at least there's no blatant factual inaccuracy involved in that
