Took my good lady for cocktails and a pennnnnngggg meal last night at Reform in the Mandeville round the corner from my flat seeing as she's going to the US for three weeks tomorrow. Nice excuse to don the black suit I bought last month.

2 - 2.5hr work lunch in a minute. Get given £15 towards it wach (its £20) and free drinks, so only costing me a fiver.

2) Watching food channels on the TV in the office.
3) 1 day until Christmas holidays
4) Staff Christmas dinner tonight at the carvery.

Homeless man Alan Dent returned a purse with bank cards and £70 to its rightful owner, after finding it while busking on Market Street. He has been showered with praise from Mancunians – and has now been offered permanent accommodation by a housing association.
