Swamp 81 show on Rinse

Exactly, where are the old tunes? It's all unreleased swamp stuff everyone's already bored of.

It's because after a few plays the songs seem old, more so if it's months apart. I think if they had shows where people locked in knowing they were gonna hear something they never would have heard before (Like the Hessle & Numbers shows) alongside some Swamp stuff it would be more interesting. Even if it was 60/40 in favour of swamp it would be more interesting. I wish they would release more stuff the way they did with Chunky's EP, with people finding out the track names by listening to the snippets on surus.

I thought Paleman's mix was pretty solid...

More importantly though this show reminded me how monster of a year Boddika has quietly (or as quiet as you can be on a label like Swamp81) had.

Who still listens to youtube rips though? When you hear the track in EVERY mix of any DJ from the label it gets boring.

The show has been quite poor recently. For a monthly show you'd think there would be a wider selection than Boddika into Dusky into Paleman into Joy O into Zed Bias into a random Redlight alias back into Boddika. Just seeing the ease people put tracklists together on here and the amount of tunes I've already heard puts me off listening.

The last one I thought was good was back when they had Klose one do a mix.
Everyother since kind of blend together like you said, especially if you have seen any of them play out at anypoint inbetween.

Will check this most recent one out and see if thats anybetter.
