any of you guys heard any doom metal or drone at all....?
i reckon some of you bassheads would fuckin love it.... its phenomenal loud. i went to supersonic at birmingham and heard it over a 40k system... i was in a bass trance dudes. ok its nothing like dubstep but it comes from the same place basswise
check out sunn, earth, om

yeah man check out "come my fanatics" by electric wizard, all their releases are wicked, that and dopethrone, the best doom band bar none, do a search on cosmicdoom.com plenty of doom/drone to keep you going...

yeah well into that stuff. Seen Sunn o))) a couple times and Om who were fucking sick, going to see Earth in December i think. its all about Jerusalem/Dopesmoker by sleep though

eyehategod's album 'take as needed for pain' is fucking dirt. still rock that out on the regular. also bongzilla have had their moments. everything else, not so much.

I intend to go see Sunn & Boris perform Altar in december with Earth as the support. Can't wait. Must remember to take my ear plugs with me. A mate saw Sunn a while ago with proper pro ear plugs and he said they were still too loud.

when i saw sunn o))) i was bricking it thinking i was gonna be deaf but i could hear clear as day afterwards.... must be cos its such low frequencies. my body was exhausted tho....
