AmPro - The Unlikely Plan (Dubglitch idk)

Post by AmPro » Wed Jan 02, 2013 11:55 pm

Hey guys!

Just released my "1 year anniversary song". I've been producing fcked up bassmusic in almost exactly one year now - and I'd love your feedback on this new tune.

Thing is - im not really sure if this is "standard" dubstep. It has the bpm for dubstep, but lots of elements from glitch, rock and more midtempo stuff!

So I'm not really sure what to call it.

Anyway, awesome if u left some feedback either here or on my SC!

Loving that intro :D

Kick/snare are a little on the flat side, might benefit from some layering to beef them up. The vocal samples peppered in this are nicely chosen and compliment the bass patches well. Liking the arrangement, it's head nodding without being formulaic. Love the way the beat programming evolves over the course of the tune.

This is pretty awesome overall, good stuff :D

Wow, thank you Wub! Much appreciated!=)

Yeah, I'm trying to get the hang of that snare! I did acutally layer it with a really high transposed kickdrum! I think it brought in a ekstra kick, but I might've been a bit to subtle on the volum of the entire snare tbh. I had much more to go on, I just didnt want it to crack anywhere!

Thank you very much! I always lay down some example beat at first, work my way through the bass and synths etc - and when the song is finished i go back to the drums, and rewrite them entirely! Keeps the flow going =)

Thank you a ton! Really, deeply appreciated =)
