^depending on how many I/Os your interface has you could do dub mixes of your tunes. Otherwise with no outboard gear or the proper I/Os on an interface a mixer really doesn't serve much of a purpose. Looks like a nice little desk mixer though man ;p I've got a similar Yamaha I still use.

yeh i was thinking about this, it would be cool to do. are saying a fe guitar pedals and some cables i should be ready to go?

Yea...I mean I can't quite tell how many send/returns you have on that mixer from the picture. I can't quite read the labeling on everything. But yea, basically. Also, how many I/Os does your interface have? Because you'll want more than 1 or 2 stereo I/Os on your interface to do a live dub.

Hrm....seems like you could probably hook up two pedals/FX then? I'm not an expert on mixers. The bigger question is though, how many outs does your interface have? If it only has two outs (assuming you aren't using these for you monitors) you'll only be able to run two channels into the mixer.
