Was good, better than I expected. Way better acting than any American made films of the time (or years to come). Wtf America?

Bronson

Also good. Worth a watch.

Event Horizon

Was pretty bad in all honesty, but was nice to see something sci-fi that I hadnt seen before. Looked good visually, more sets/props than cgi, but that was about it.

Been having a strange urge to watch it for some time now. Classic film, Woodward is great. I pretty much love any 70s British horror film.

Taken 2 (BluRay) - Good sequel, action scenes were great. Really clever ideas used during the CIA parts for what I felt would be just more of the same. It has a good pace to it, short length definitely helped that too.

Patriot Games (BluRay) - Really enjoyed it. Sean Bean was a bit of a surprise, it was a good role for him. Classic Harrison Ford though, what else is there to say.

Not sure why I'd put this off so long. Excellent. Jack Nicholson is brilliant. Matt Damon's a bastard.

Image

For some reason I was expecting this to be a relatively lame comedy, it's actually a pretty decent drama. Tyrese is passable, the girl playing his babymama is brilliant, but Ving Rhames steals the show.

Image

Utterly average. Not as one dimensional as I was expecting, but not actually that funny either. I was half expecting Seth McFarlane to go too far, but I'm not sure he went far enough.... this isn't even as surprising or fresh as the average Family Guy episode and that's saying something these days. Mark Wahlberg's good enough, Mila Kunis is expectedly beautiful.

Watched There Will Be Blood for the 4th time in about two months last night. It has quickly become one of my favorite films. After that I watched One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest which I had never seen before. Really liked it.
And I just picked up Tarantino's cut of True Romance on Blu-Ray for a fiver. Never seen the film before so looking forward to that.

Does anyone know a good webshop for films btw? I wanted to get Nil By Mouth but it's absolutely impossible to find here in Holland.

Ridiculously over-rated. Would give it a 7/10.

Django Unchained: Really nice flick - 8/10. Christian Walz is probably my favorite actor atm.

I watched the carlos the Jackal trilogy on film 4 last night. Was very long but quite entertaining and surprisingly relevant (syrian war and stuff). Plus Magdalena Kopp was :U:
