Am I right in thinking that is doesn't stretch your neck but pushes your collarbone down, giving the impression it's stretched? Sure I've read that before.

Wouldn't go as far as saying it killed it; it was always there, it just wasn't the hot new thing anymore. And like with any other genre, whoever manages to dumb things down for larger audiences will bring in bigger crowds, make more money, be considered the face of said genre etc, which can alienate a lot of people, sure. But just because you lost interest in a certain scene doesn't mean that scene is dead.

Don't think it's that popular. And it's pretty from dnb nowadays, at least imo.
