Easy beloved production forum.

Following the good reception that my EP on ISR received, especially the track titled "Civilization", and our two dubplate give away, I'm happy to announce that me, Jesse from Iron Shirt Recordings and Will Benton from FatKidOnFire are throwing a remix competition for the said tune.

Three winners will be picked and all of the three will receive free ISR merch. First place gets to sign his track with Iron Shirt Recording, joining an artist roster that includes names like Perverse, Killawatt, Ghost Note, myself and others. He will also be featured on an EP with Tallan (Redshift One Recordings), Darj (Tribe 12 Recordings) and Native (Iron Shirt Recordings). This EP will be available on all digital stores and as a limited hand stamped vinyl via the label's own store. Second and third place will have their downloads up as freebies on FatKidOnFire.com, a blog deeply involved with the dubstep scene that has hundreds of daily hits.

There's no specific genre for competition entries. Said entries will be judged by other two judges aside from me.

To enter the competition, all you have to do is send an email to ironshirtrecordings@gmail.com with the subject "Mishva Remix Comp" providing links for your stuff (such as soundcloud, facebook, email et coetera so we know how to reach you) and you will be emailed back with a link for the stems. Please keep in mind that it may take some time to get a link back because of the different time zones.

30 entries so far and it's just day one. Producers don't sleep on this, huge chance to get proper exposure.

Don't know if theres much point entering now,thats a lot of competition lol.Doesn't it run till march as well??????Gonna be about a million mixes of your tune!!

Hahah, we'll listen to every tune submited. It goes until march so people have a lot of time to come up with ideas, experiment different versions and so on.

do you upload all entries on a site at the end? or just the best? would be nice to hear all the ideas and points of view.

The best will be in a commercial release and the second and third best will be in FKOF's soundcloud as a freebie, so I guess there's no harm in people uploading and giving away the tracks after the comp is over.
