If you could jack one DJ's record bag....

Post by benjybars » Mon Aug 27, 2007 12:46 pm

whose would it be?!

assuming they had their entire collection with them... i guess it would be have to be someone like skream or mala cos you'd get so many dubplates that are never gonna see a release. but then someone like yungsta would have loads of cool 8 bar stuff or hatcha would have ridiculous amounts of early dark-garagey stuff. hmm...

(obviously not condoning the actual jacking of records from any dj... having said that i saw geeneus coming into FWD the other week with his records and he's only little.. i'm pretty sure i could take him! ..come to think of it he'd have shitloads of great pay as you go grime on him  )

yeah shit, kode 9 is a very good call. but with skream you'd also get loads of vintage funk!

I reckon Benny Ill would be a pretty good pick... think about the jungle, the hip hop, the hardcore, the garage and god knows what else...

i´ve had my chances to snatch the bag, but then i´d kill the whole scene in finland i guess :D cant be that stupid!

Steve Davis (as in the snooker player). Man's got a BAAD funk collection that would put Dr Dre to shame!

Enough drum samples to keep you going forever....

I'd snag N-Type's.

The only "straight back" he'd be doing is going straight back to the cutting house to cut new dubs
