Doubt it. There maybe the odd tune played but, there isn't any dedicated stage.

Easy all crew

i managed to reach for a Sunday session at Carnival and the first sound system we found was Nine Bar Sound who were in full Dubstep style.

It was big big big

The crowd was loving the Dubstep tunes with nuff whistles and horns sounding yeah1 man it was proper. The music moved into D&B and breaks and my crew moved on to the Soca bizzle. A full on Dubstep Sound would have been appreciated I am sure.

Got one crowd pic will try to get it uploaded for ya

Best carnival for a while with the best weather and tunes got covered in mud from the road marching Soca massive, probably because I was wearing a big Guyana shirt, representing.

niceness vibes

Just got back, didn't hear any dubstep but heard a little grime set whilst I was munching!

The MC was chatting about repping UK music and fuck 50 Cent, then the next DJ came on and played 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake!

Still fun day though

FOLLOW THE LEADER-LEADER-LEADER.

Carnival was superb, as ever.

Bit gutted that I lost track of time and my senses and ended up wedged between 10,000 people at Sancho Panza whilst forgetting about Aba-Shanti. However, SP had a superb soundsystem. Ridiculously good in fact (considering I was nowhere near it, it must have been).

Every time I go to Carnival I end up with a bit of memory loss so spent an awkward morning yesterday hearing what I got up to and then trying to convince my girlfriend that I'm not really a dickhead.

A dedicated dubstep rig at Carnival would be ideal and popular.

Didn't hear much dubstep, but that could be because I spent ALL DAY at the Channel 1 system. Sounded so so good. Proper good vibes too. Ended up getting very drunk and have no recollection of getting home. A good day then.

I think i've been to the last 10. I couldn't really be bothered to go to this one. Always good to have a break. I went to a bbq on sunday night so wasn't really feeling the disire to hang out at carnival on monday. I just crashed at home and had food and watched all the episodes of Hero's with my house mate.

The floats were unreal, for me the procession was the best thing about the weekend by quite a long way. But the two dancehall systems down near Ledbury Rd on the two different days were utterly rowdy, and Aba Shanti was standardly on a deep, spiritual flex - monday climax was ridiculous… always find it jokes that some people think that dub is only stoner music for chilling…

if im honest, i didnt come close to finding myself wishing for dubstep

ye sancho panza was a seeerious partae. was that mc american or merely puttin on a american twang, phi life cypher style? didnt see much of aba shanti on the sun but made amends for that when the police finaly let us through on the monday.
im not really too bothered to have a dubstep dedicated system at carnaval though. i think its one of the pluses of carnaval is that you can go out and see different styles of music that you wouldnt normal venture out to. if there was a completely dubstep rig it would allow for me to be in my comfort zone too much. still though, wouldnt complain
i got cramp in both feet.
