Looking for someone to collab with and learn from :)

Post by evilmoonmoose » Fri Jan 25, 2013 11:31 pm

Hi all, ive been trying to make dubstep for a while, about 7-8 months, and Im not really getting better. I work on it every day, I make sounds in ableton, massive and other programs for about 6-8 hours every night and every morning.....I just dont see what I'm doing wrong. I do this for the enjoyment purely, and was wondering if someone would be willing to collab with me and show me the ropes? I am horrible at making drops, and probably melodic placement too...I just want to learn and be the best that I can be.

Thanks in advance,
Respectfully
Jeff :)

Also, soundcloud tends to make my songs look like rockets.....
I run Ableton 8.3 LEGIT
and Massive by Native Instruments on a Toshiba with 2 ghz 3 GB Ram and 300 Gigs of space ;)

O.o how does it not seem right? I am horrid at drops, i have no clue what kind of placement they should have, dont have any idea how to do paralell processing, and i for sure cant "fill the ear" with sounds :(
