What happened to this forum this weekend?

Post by rockonin » Mon Jan 28, 2013 1:02 pm

Tried accessing this forum all this weekend. It kept saying the domain name had expired, until this morning. Was there work being done to the site or just my dns settings?

Since DSF was down I went to take a look at KVR Sound Design and Production Techniques subforums. And I can say, in all honestly: that is way worse than this. Holy shit.

KVR, Gearslutz and DOA are way rougher than this place.

KVR is only useful for software/ hardware news really since so many devs have their own spot there. So full of dinosaurs.

Yup I know, that's why I mentioned specifically those subforums, closer somewhat to the idea behind our own Production Board :Q: .

Aye. Its mostly 40+ people trying to tune their band and such, for sound design a complete no-no by now.
