Trying Something New- RnB/Dubstep Hybrid- Great Feedback!

Post by RawFrequency » Mon Jan 28, 2013 4:13 pm

Hey all, I had got a bit bored of dubstep recently and decided to try and make something more unique- the result is a hybrid of dubstep and RnB that I guess qualifies as 'chillstep' although I know a lot of you will disagree that 'chillstep' is a valid term anyway (you know what I mean though!). Anyway it has had great feedback so far so I figured I'd share it with you lovely people for your opinions!

I've released the results in my debut EP 'Welcome To The Asylum'.

Here are the links to a couple of the tracks:
Delirium: https://soundcloud.com/edbrew/delirium- ... ria-taylor

Psychosis: https://soundcloud.com/edbrew/psychosis

And if you like what you hear, why not download the EP free here: http://goo.gl/AEqC1

All feedback welcome! Thanks for your time :)

Delirium is a stunning piece of music my friend,i was actually really surprised when it started,i don't quite think i was expecting that.
Well psychosis is another absolute stunner.I'm not gonna even bother giving you feed back other than bowing down in mercy and letting you tickle my belly with your magical hands. :Q: :Q: :Q:

My only question is why are you giving them away for free when this is of radio standard?

Wow, thank you so much man! It really means a lot to me to get that kind of support! The singers were both recorded specifically for the tracks :)

Yeah thought so,i have searched literally billions of acapellas looking for singers like that but have never had any luck. You just gained a new follower on soundcloud so i wait with baited breath to see what heavenly music you bring my way in the future.
If you ever want remix work done and it's up my alley hit me up i would be really interested.

I echo the above statements, very nice. The vocals are great, reminiscent of Phaeleh tunes.

That really means a lot to me man, thank you! Phaeleh was a huge inspiration to me when I was working on the EP!
