Brighton UK's Marchmellow brings us his slick, sexy Tsunami Audio debut - the "Next to You EP". Title track "When I'm Next To You" starts things off with a r&b-tinged silky smooth vocal, adds a bit of purply melodic goodness, and backs it all up with the heaviest of dub basslines. This one's a grinder, a jumper, and a pure sexy beast. "Let Go" settles us in with proper shuffling percussion, dub horns and an uplifting synth arp to compliment the ample low end, resulting in an irresistable dancefloor groover. "Just Bounce For Me"... well, the title says it all - bouncy tech vibes stripped down with heavy snares, rumbling low-end and a distorted mechanoid midbass combine to bring you yet another smart dancefloor banger. Finally, "Jeez" brings this infinitely danceable EP to a close in fine fashion, with probably the heaviest, most distorted bassline we've heard in many moons. This one's so dirty, you're gonna need to shower with dish soap to get off all the grime this track lays on ya!
