Re: Free Track Mastered by Gigantic Mastering
Might I ask how it's so different from mastering jazz or some other type of music?

In the broad sense of things, it's a similar process. The nuances are all a bit different.
Generally speaking I'll use more modern sounding compressors with a fast(er) attack/release time and more exact eqing because of the nature of using synths/samples vs an acoustic instrument and a mic in a room. Mics in rooms are far less perfect sounding than samples.
There's also the challenge of working with a lot more sub-lows and more drastic dynamic changes. Making sure a drop, well, still drops. And the kick/bass lines don't pump everything else too much (unless its wanted). And ensuring the sub-low and low end is represented in bass lacking systems.
Also, loudness is far more desirable in the electronic world, not that it isn't desirable everywhere else.

Your service appears very professional after going through your website. Very coherent and it seems you really want to strive for client satisfaction. I like it a lot.
One thing to note though that I personally see as a big thing. The "sample" demos of your mastered work. Your samples are just straight up mastered tracks. There's no "before mastering" or "after mastering". Someone can't gauge your mastering skill just from an "after" mastering song. Potential customers would be a LOT more inclined to use your service if they could see how much you could improve their tracks ya know?
Just some input

Been getting some great stuff and doing a lot of learning along the way guys... Thank you. Thought I'd post a sample of one of the tracks I worked on thus far. Enjoy!
Mastered Clip is first followed by the mix.

Oh, and thanks again Hostile Invasion. My whole samples section is "master/mix" clips nows.
The offer still stands by the way for those interested. And yes, one song...
