some people swear by rotary mixers and won't use anything else

the Urei 1620 is like the holy grail of rotary mixers but they cost a fortune now because they are pretty much collectors items (just looked it up, looks like they are being made again)

the originals had valve circuitry etc which accounts for the amazing sound it supposedly has (i cant comment on that)

yeah i don't think i've ever tried mixing on a rotary mixer myself, i personally don't see the attraction

people say you can fade the tunes in and out more smoothly but whatever

and as far as i can tell you can't do fast cuts between channels

Do they make mixers w faders & knobs so u can pick which one u want according to what ur mixing
