£600 a month for a 1 bedroom flat in Hitchin. It's not going to be luxury living but it fits our budget! We thought about house shares as well but figured we would probably annoy anyone we lived with unless they were also in their 20s and liked raving safely

Yeah basically if she likes it I'm 99% sure that I'll like it. It's a 1 bedroom flat, there's not really much that you can't like about it. As long as there's a bed and a sofa I'll be pretty happy.

Looked at a small 1 bed place in stratford that was 1400 a month and got told it was one of the cheapest flats around.

London wages would make up for it - but as you get taxed 40% everything over 32k now its all a bit much.

Yeah there's some scope to have tax bands weighted for London as well. That's crazy man and rough for people starting to look for homes.

Miles Davis Bootleg Series Volume 2 released this week and just got my notification from Amazon that it's shipping. That the last one is one of the best live jazz albums and that this covers some of the Bitches Brew stuff has me super excited for a release for the first time in a while.
