The sound comes in at the drop 1:07.
Can someone explain how to make sounds like that and also how to eq them.
I have been playing around with massive and fm8 for a while now but i only get shit growls and wobbles.
Help me make this growl and wobble sound.
Re: Help me make this growl and wobble sound.
Why not just post in the growl bass thread
You can do this in Razor using the vowel filter and modulating between E and U, then modulate the EQ on top of it
Or you can do it in FM8, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OApL9UlOAmY

That sounds horrible, actually sounds like a processed vocal with heavy reso on the filter sweep rather than a synth.

Agreed -- I actually do think it was synthesized, but just sounds like someone buried their speaker under a pillow and pressed recordmthrfnk wrote:That sounds horrible, actually sounds like a processed vocal with heavy reso on the filter sweep rather than a synth.

Re: Help me make this growl and wobble sound.
The two sounds sound more like lead sounds routed through lfos with mirrored subs
So take the lead sound in 1 channel and eq it then take the sub in another and eq it
And route both into there own bass channel and compress lightly then play with the levels
The sub should fatten up the sound while the lead remains bright then filter and play
You may never make the origional sound ou want but you will make other unique sounds
Otherwise look on youtube as there are loads of tuturials on there
