it's the way of life now days, devs seem like they always want to appeal to a wider audience. same with music if you ask me.deadly habit wrote:Figured they were going after the Uncharted market... and with all the QTE, mash key to not die shit I've seen in previews can tell it's not for me.lloydy wrote:Bought tomb raider yesterday and it's decent. Not as hard as earlier versions but seriously fast paced.Bit like Drake's Uncharted on steroids.
I sort of see why they cut the puzzle side of it out with it being a young Lara learning the ropes but it is a bit of a let down on that side of things. For me the game is good though and one i want to complete,i put games down far to easily if they don't float my boat so yeah its decent enough.
These reboots to appeal to the mass fanbase that seem to ignore the original core base they built up with IPs is starting to become a very irritating trend.
look at skream, he used to make some amazing music, now he's gone to making complete shit coz that's whats apparently big.
take a look at skreamizm 1 & 2 amazing, then take a look at skreamizm vol 7 utter waste.
doubt i'll ever buy a skream track ever again tbh which is a shame as that's how i feel bout most producers nowdays.
even tho not alot of output i'm glad silkie, quest, heny, mala and the likes still make quality for the people.
