Was kind of thinking about this as well..
The Chemic isnt a million miles away but not exactly on route from the station. Probably best go with the Duck and Drake, Whitelocks or Nation of Shopkeepers in the centre of town. I'm sure somebody here more familiar with Leeds can give you more info.

Excited about going this! (and eating birthday carrot cake in Tribe with the big cheese)

Best to go to a pub in town then head up to the windy.

Wharfe Chambers is good - friendly people and decent cheap beer. Northbar, Friends of Ham and Brewdog is good for expensive excellent beer. The Palace is a great pub for reasonably priced, well-kept UK ales. You'll find them all on google maps I reckon.

Sweet i'll probably pop in there. Author should be decent with a forthcoming album, Youngsta playing a vinyl 2004-2008 set is gunna be the highlight. Dubs galore.

Gutted I've booked a train home for 4:45 cause Kahn, Yunx and Author DJ set at the after party.. hopefully I'm too drunk to care about going home and go there regardless.

Of all the nights ive missed out here stateside this is the one thats hurt the most.

Although... My mates all had tickets they rang me 1am UK time said que was looking at least 2 hours and everyone had tickets.... llow that.

Lol were they in the wrong queue? It was a monster but the ticket one went well quick. The pay on the door looked horrible though.

Also was crowded to fuck but thankfully plenty of bar staff, didn't have to wait long to get a drink. Reasonable prices too.. I think.

loool so yeh my mates got in. We go all the time and are pretty pally with the main bouncer (the dude with the gimpy eye) They shouted him and he was sound enough to let em in past everyone hahah

but considering the time difference between UK / LA my mates always ring me on nights out. Sometimes thats a piss take sometimes its funny.. But last night my mate rings me blatently fucked. Hes like here speak to my mate and its some guy in a southern accent hes like "Orite Tyler my names Petes hows it going bruv? How LA?" and im like "alright mate. Weathers decent you know "

Thought they'd just met some pisshead or something from LDN who was at Leeds uni. So the phonecall continues for like 5 mins and im laughing talking a load of shit with this guy. I wish him well with the rest if his night and he hands phone back to my mate. So im like who the fuck was that lol? Oh shit i didnt tell you it was Loefah
