Just the sound pressure affecting the water isn't that special. As was already mentioned, it's syncing the cycle of the sine wave
with the frame rate.

You don't really need "anti-gravity" to overcome gravity either. Gravity's incredibly weak (despite it acting effectively over very large distances) - on smaller scales it's not really a big factor - for instance, you can overcome the entire gravitational force of an object the size of the Earth on an event flyer with a magnet the size of your fingernail and make it stick to your fridge door. The nuclear force can do even better:
