Good call. I'd love to hear a dubstep version of 'Deep Burnt'. I'd like to hear Slater Hogan and John Larners take on Dubstep as well.

in all fairness

Post by eski442 » Mon Sep 03, 2007 12:48 pm

i think alot of the dnb producers named in this thread can barely make dnb, dont give em the idea to come and fuck up dubstep as well. the reason most of the dnb and jungle crowd have come to ds is cos it went wonky when these ringtone producers came in. ill hand it to skynet, stakka and twisted, dubstep is them all over, immense records, but even heavy weights of dnb like tech itch lacks so much as a ds producer(and when i heard he was puttin out tunes i almost creamed haha) that its just a terrible idea to think that the likes of g dub and those fools might start playin with this aswell.

if they do do it and its good fair enuff prove me wrong but you can guarentee i wouldnt even give their stuff a listen if i saw it on chemical or red eye without the highest praise from the entire scene first...

(thats me whinge done lol)

i think unkle, massive attack, tricky and aphex should all give it a bash maybe bolland too

anyone whos been playin warped, minimal or trip hop i guess
I came from the jungle swingin thru trees

Nah, he'd just sample the whole of someone elses dubstep tune, layer some drums and classic prodigy honk bass on to it and stick it on a twelve. Then when you tried to sue him he'd buy up the original record label and sue you back for releasing your own track unliscensed.

Still, quality producer

Seriously though, was listening to Experience and Jilted Genereation in the car the other day, and they are stupendous,

For my 2 cents, I'd love to hear a Dougans/Cobain mid '90s FSOL dubstep tune.

As for G-Dub, Hazard etc.... :? dunno about that. I'm all for the odd rinseout honk-fest and that, but hmmmm.

Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Alternatively, dubstep DJs start playing Angels Fell and Brutal Bass at nights instead
