My first time on MD. Amazing and horrible in equal measure, I suppose.

It was back in my more DnB orientated days, think it was a Breakin' Science at Coronet. All I used to do was blaze at raves (this is back when an 8th actually weighed 3.5) but for whatever reason I couldn't get any draw that night. Somehow I was given a pill (no idea why) but not knowing what to expect I split it with a friend and waited for the fun to start. Another 'friend' kept checking on me and asking if I was feeling it but nothing was happening. After about two hours of my apparent immunity to the half pill it started to annoy him. He said 'ok, i'll give you some md then'. In for a penny, in for a pound I thought to myself and agreed. He then proceeded to put two dabs short of half a gram in a bottle of water and told me to back it.
Now, i'd know this boy for a good few years so I trusted him. My mistake.
I backed it and he said '10 minutes mate!' with a glint of mischief in his eye.
Coronet is an old theatre so a few friends and I went to sit down up in the gods/balcony. Sure enough the 10 minute mark came and I started to sweat profusely. My muscles started to clench and my jaw was swinging harder than a wife swapping club in the 60's. My eyes were spinning and I could not for the life of me focus on a fucking thing. I shut my eyes and prepared myself for death. It was fucking scary BUT I firmed it and convinced myself that everything would be ok if I could force control over my faculties. I gingerly opened my eyes and stopped them spinning only to see some of my female friends dancing on stage next to Eksman. I immediately shut my eyes again.

The next day, having survived and gotten home, I experienced the worst come-down known to man. I decided to watch a film as it wouldn't require moving that much and put on Mulholland Dr. 20 minutes into the film I was convinced i'd died and was in some kind of hell. I took weeks to recover fully and I haven't been able to watch that film since.

A month or so later I found out that my female friends WE'RE on the stage with Eksman and I hadn't imagined the whole thing.

Lessons learned -
Moderation is the key.
Don't trust sadistic stnuc.

I fucking loved Coronet back in the day (yeah, nostalgia WOOO!) just for reasons like this.

Last time the missus & I went to see Todd Edwards it was half empty, most of the crowd looked about 12, then Todd Edwards got cancelled because of the ash cloud

As I said I've never really had a bad experience myself though. Watched mates around me having breakdowns and what have you. But I've always been in control (of my intake as well).

I did have one paranoid episode that lasted for a few days. I would constantly have the feeling that everybody around me wanted something from me. I was convinced they did but were afraid to say it. They wanted me to buy them a beer. They wanted my pack of smokes. They wanted my sandwiches at lunch. They wanted the clothes from my body. They wanted me to do the talking.... that was unpleasant but it never got to the stage where I was shouting 'what the fuck do you want from me?!'

I know people joke about your age an all that but you do seem far too eager to grow up.. which is fine apart from in the world of drugs. Also legal E pills are mostly caffeine lol. I wouldn't advise taking any strong hallucinogenic in a club enviornment.. it aint the 80s/90s anymore where people are on acid in clubs, you'll stand out like a sore thumb and just get laughed at before being thrown out a confused wreck.

Festivals are different.. but still you shouldn't even be considering these questions. Stop eating out of date mushrooms from your fridge and drink cheap alcohol like a normal teenager.

One time i was at a rave and did a pretty standard amount of mandy and then a mate gave me a large key of what i assumed was more mandy but later told me was meth. It fucked me up but i was in control but soon as it got to the afterparty i got so para. I was in a room with 80% people i had only met that night and thought that they were all staring at me and laughing the whole time at one point i was sure they were all telling one of the only guys i knew how weird i was (they may well of been as i must of looked so sketchy haha but i still to this day i don't know if i was imagining it all). Eventually left and couldn't sleep till like 1 the next morning and for the next few weeks i couldn't really look people in the eyes properly, havn't done mandy properly since.

And it's the legality that makes all the difference when they interact with the unfinished brain of a teenager, of course.

Seriously dude... you've got LOTS of years ahead and a finite amount of sanity. You may well be absolutely fine, but you really don't sprint your way into being a 25 year old fuck up just because you couldn't wait for your brain to finish growing before you started screwing about with it.

Hallucinogens fuck your brain up enough in the short term that you can feel you're in an entirely different world - this is NOT something I'd recommend in the slightest for someone whose brain is still fairly plastic compared to an adult. The old wive's tale "If the wind changes, you'll be stuck with that expression" isn't such an old wive's tale with brains. Make changes and it really can be difficult to undo them - ever. A friend of my brother's took what seemed like a harmless mushroom dose when she was about 15 - she still has flashbacks to the crisis it triggered. She's 35.

The awkard moment when you think your smoking only pot with your freind then you start tripping and they tell you they put meth crystals in the bowl feels like your time traveling and realizing your high then you cant remember what happened 10 seconds ago and you laugh your ass off for no reason then you start seeing weird shit on the floor

In my experience legal highs are fucking horrible

not those gay pills you buy from weird hippy shops, but all that chemically engineered Japanese powder

i dunno what i did the once, but it was some like nmda1az or sumut

swear i didnt come down for like 3 days and towards the end i thought i was gonna be like that forever, was awake for probably 50+ hours and was basically in tears for half of it

was the worst buzz ever i was just wired and prang to fuck

seriously, stick to illegal drugs, they're better for you
