Setting a specific note to a pad on Maschine?

Post by LunarDash » Sun Mar 24, 2013 8:46 am

Well, I want to see if I can do a little something live that I made myself, but I used more than one note on some of the Massive patches that I used. If I use some of them, they are way too low to sound remotely good. So what I am asking is, how do I set it up so it works correctly?

I'm not sure what you're asking - do you want to play more than one not at a time? Do you want to choose the note of each pad?
Please specify and I can help you out :)

I want to play a specific note on a pad without going into keyboard mode. I have several basses on different LFO speeds that are played on different notes. For example, one of my basses is played on E3 in one of my songs, but my Maschine Mikro just plays it on C2 which makes my bass sound awful. If you could help, I would be greatly appreciative.

Oh I see! Well you have two options really - you could export the synth playing the note you want then retrigger that sample instead of the bass, or you could pitch the synthesizer to be the note you want it to play.

Thanks! I had been hoping I hadn't had to do that, but I will live with it.

Aye, unfortunately so. Machine has some limitations but it's a lot of fun :)

Hi guys,
Late reply, i just fell here with a similar search…
I wanted to do the same thing (change note for a synth in pad mode) and found a very, very much easier way to do so : simply press "pad mode" and adjust "base key" (encoder 3)
