Anyone done this before?

Would you say airport transfers, ferry or......
Flew to Venice last time & was no hassle really, worth shelling out the extra £££ for the official Outlook transfer bus from Venice Marco Polo Airport -> direct to Outlook site and then back. Was roughly 3-4hrs. Minimizes hassle.
Yeh I bussed it from Venice but it was grim. No one knew how long the journey was and people were tweaking cause people were saying 7 hours some saying 2. It got to like 3 hours and everyone was going well under ha then we started to see signs for Pula 8)

Haha people were chatting mad shit on all the transport though, just trusted the Outlook website and it was pretty accurate tbh. Only grim thing was the heat on the way there , would much rather get a direct bus to the site than try and shlep it myself through Croatia.

I'm so excited!! who else has tickets/accomodation sorted?

We are staying just outside Pula, didn't actually realise its still a 20 min bus journey from Pula to the festival though. Sure it will be fine. Any general information is appreciated :)

^ If you can find somewhere to hire a push bike, it's a pretty good way to get around and usually dirt cheap as well!

Drove from Venice last year, crossing he borders was easy but you have to but these vignette things and stick then on your windscreen or you can get done for like a 100 euro fine. Check trip advisor for advice.

Also dont hire a car from europcar cos theyre robbing bastards and i'm still bitter

still going on about that charge asmatik? haha...i made my way through slovenia without a vinetta which you only need to drive on their motorways...not worth paying when you only go through 20 miles of slovenia...i managed fine with a cheap europe map

We are very excited to announce a host of new names who will be gracing our stages in 2013; with our line-up continuing to expand outwards in all genre directions the new additions include hip-hop legend Mos Def, reggae icon Anthony B and Warp Record’s finest Rustie. We’re delighted to be welcoming back a number of festival favourites including Gentleman’s Dub Club, Hatcha, and Submotion Orchestra, with a heap of Outlook debut’s also on the cards from the likes of Evian Christ, Artful Dodger and Goth-Trad amongst others.

Its fuckin killing me i'm only doing Dimensions. Got tickets way before the lineup was announced. Wanted to go for the more intricate sound but fuck that Outlook lineup gets better ever time I look at it.

Wish Dimensions had a handful of names, takeovers from Outlook like fuck if I could dedicate a night to Swamp + Oneman & Jackmaster at Dimensions it would be complete. Im seriously stoked tho for the end of summer. Outlook 10 was such a great experience for me and I kinda did a solo mission. Met a lad from school at Venice airport and got invited to camp with all his mates who were all sound as fuck.

Dimensions tho this time is a good group of people who really feel the music from Uni. + we got on those hostels straight away. Fuckin buzzin for that. Was really pissed ALL my mates didnt want to camp. I really wanted the atmosphere instead of staying off site but fuck this is 100% ideal.

New additions to Dimensions too have made me hyped even more tho. Looking forward to seeing some people for the first time who i've been meaning to catch for a long time. Mount Kimbie being one of them.

Roll on Sept. oh yes.

outlook lineup looks amazing this year. so much more variety than previous years, good to see they're putting on more hip hop and grime. decided not to go for this year but if it's as strong next then going to have to go back!

good to see they've pretty much avoided going down a bad route because 2011 was getting a bit lary but think they've brought it back now!

The only things missing from last year (lineup wise) imo were more hip-hop & more live stuff, be it bands or whatever.

Theyve brought it big time hip-hop wise, hoping for a high focus daytime takeover on the beach that would be perfect!

Tbh i barely experienced any aggyness except for queuing for Swamp at the Moat, everyone else there seemed sound. Less moshing/tards in Fort 1/Dockside all weekend than Dmz 8 for sure.

Only quibble: Bonobo y u no play live? :(
