That would be hilarious

tacospheros wrote:definitely agree with you. don't get me wrong i got started with electronic music by going to raves when i was a youngin and not knowing shit about the music, so part of me is like yeah, let the kids have their fun, eventually some of them will see the light one day. but yeah, when i went to a "rave" in BK recently, it was like "dear god get me out of this place". unfortunately nowadays raves are dominated by really shit music. you kinda have to find the offshoot scenes if you want the good stuff, which there is plenty of , so don't give up :Q: also westchester whats good ?
I think Brooklyn mite be part of the problem lol. This new "cool" Brooklyn can attract a lame crowd. I prefer the old "dont go there" brooklyn. Although i never went there lol...

You can't tell me there's no good stuff going on in ny.

Rarely have anything less than a great time around here.
Of course... This was just my first "rave"

jesslem wrote:That's because NY is a piece of shit OP.
Overblown everything, and laden with filth.

In New York, the dirt is dirty.
The dirt is what makes new york great.

Ah didn't consider it was your first. Takes some tries to find the vibe/music you like.

I think NYC shines when your partying with smart, employed, 20 somethings, with interests beyond drugs and these "rave" dont attract that crowd at all. The "raves attract the products of our shitty public school systems where kids are exposed to drugs at way too early of an age, and the 'we came here from jersey to party and sell molly crowd'

Plus the lack of dubstep and d&b pissed me off, which if im gunna do drugs I wanna here

'go away'

Depart, leave a place, travel somewhere. For example, They went away this morning , or Are you going away this winter? This expression also can be used as an imperative ordering someone to leave: Go away! It can also be used figuratively to mean "disappear," as in This fever just doesn't go away . [c. 1200]

I wanna know where In the rave discussion I went too far, I wanna know what pisses ravers off. I want to know why you'd rather me be censored than explain why you disagree with me. You ravers are worse than the news media
