New stuff for U-He Diva!

Post by VirtualMark » Tue Apr 02, 2013 3:27 pm

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5eb7018067
- we'll showcase Bazille 1.0 (to be released in June/July)
- we'll showcase Satin (tape machine emulation, due in May)
- we might showcase Presswerk, a massive compressor (ui pending)
- we'll have a Digital oscillator module for Diva
- we'll have a new "Uhbie" filter module for Diva and ZebraHZ
- we'll have a sequencer/arpeggiator combo for Diva (all coming in June)
- we'll have Caffè corretto to pick you up

And also, wish us luck for Diva's second nomination for the MIPA award. It took Zebra twice to get it, so we're in good spirits.

More screenshots will be posted as they come...

- Urs

Really want ZebraHZ but not paying what he wants for an upgrade.

Definitely getting Satin though.

I think Zebra 3 is coming out in the near future, so it may be worth waiting as it'll probably have all the capabilities of HZ and more.

Satin looks interesting!

On KVR they're asking for a U-He vocoder - I'd get that in an instant.

I own Diva but I really want him to finish up that arpeggiator! I will also buy Satin as soon as it comes out. He really knows his stuff.

U-He Diva?

Post by Rappone » Mon Apr 08, 2013 5:12 pm

This reviews are for the most part fantastic. The interface looks impressive and pretty intuitive.

Anyone has it? Is it worth the buy??

If not, any better suggestions? lol

I already work on Massive (who doesnt?) as well as some fm8 and absynth. Looking to branch out of NI though and push forward some

I love it! If you want an analog sound from your PC it's the best one going imo. Although it's VERY CPU intensive. Literally one instance kills my old Core 2 Duo laptop, although my i7 runs it ok.

Your sounds are dope so i'll take your word for it!

oh and cpu intensive means a lusher higher quality sound which is great news. also read that about it on reviews, but my mac should handle it fine.

and saw that new stuff dropping thread, shud i just wait till july then to get it after they upgrade it n all you think?

The upgrades are free so it doesn't matter! You'll get them either way.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the feedback. I only used Diva in that tune for the chords in the intro(not the arp), the basses are all FM8 and Massive. I don't use it on everything, but it's great for some sounds and tbh I find it fun just to play with. It uses circuit simulation, so the filters are about as close as you can get to a real analog synth. I'll probably start using it for supersaws and other stuff with the new oscillators.

I'd love to own a real analog synth, but they're not half as practical as having all of your tools in a laptop!
